I have Windows XP which might work once run in compatibility mode, but I didn't know how to set that up / kept getting errors doing that too. I also tried setting up a virtual computer but I don't have a windows 95 or 98 anymore. Tried copying the CD files to a separate folder on my desktop, I tried setting up a virtual drive with PowerISO, and a few other things from different youtube videos/searches. I tried running in compatibility mode, I tried my computer recommended compatibility mode settings, I I am trying to play this game either with my CDs or not. I have a 64-bit computer, but under the System Information tab it says I have a 32-bit computer. It sounds like it doesn't want to run because it thinks As governor of a Roman province, the fortune very much lies in the players own hands.

I have the 3 disks for the game and when I try to install them I get the following error message (image below). The city builder strategy game Imperium Romanum is set in the time-honoured Roman Empire and players will marvel in the incredible attention to detail when working on a strategy to build a well organised, prosperous and commanding settlement. I am trying to play a game I enjoyed greatly as a child (Oregon Trail 3rd edition).
